Congratulations to Paul

Congratulations to Paul

There have been many major changes that have happened to Paul this year, and at a time when he was unemployed.

Paul was selected in February to complete a six weeks automotive training course in conjunction with Stirling Skills, an employment facilitator, and the Motor Trade Association of WA, the course trainers.

A part of the training involved a two-week block of practical work experience, and for Paul, fortunately his host employer was Peel Tyre Service.

In March, and also at Peel Tyre Service, MTA WA CEO Mr Stephen Moir, presented certificates of completion to all the students who undertook the same automotive course.

Paul had managed to do such a good job with his work experience placement, that he was then employed as a casual tyre fitter.

Over time Paul has continued to train and learn about all aspects in a tyre fitting workshop, and it is because of his dedication and hard work, that Peel Tyre Service has now changed his employment to full time. This has been a great achievement for Paul, and also for everyone who has been involved along the way with his employment journey.

Next time you need tyres be sure to pop in and say hi to Paul.
