See What Drove Robyn Into the Boardroom
Peel Tyre Service began in Mandurah, twenty-one years ago and Robyn had little knowledge of the tyre industry, but since then Peel Tyre Service has grown into one of the most recognised and awarded independent tyre stores in Western Australia. In 2015 the business won the national - Australian Small Business Champion Award for automotive, and Robyn was in the top 25 nationally for business entrepreneurs. This successful business has won countless other Local and State awards including business of the year for MTA WA, and the Peel Chamber Commerce, plus Robyn is a past finalist of the Telstra business Women’s awards. After the sale of a second store that Robyn operated and managed for five years, Robyn said she was looking for new challenges, and that it’s her continued desire to make a difference in the tyre industry, for female shoppers as well as females wanting to enter the automotive industry. Robyn was then recently approached by the Motor Trade Association of WA and the opportunity arose for her to be the first woman to be invited to the national commitee meeting for the Australian Tyre Dealers Association.
